Stretch your Brain with Instant Chess
Guys and Dolls, I have discovered something (Instant Chess!)that will both stretch my nerdiness and make me a better lover . . . okay, probably not the second one. Yes, it is an online chess playing service. Rejoice!
So, of course there are gazillion online chess playing services and places to get chess instructions and official chess rules, but this one stood out. The profile data is amazing. You can check out your opponents favorite moves and once you are sufficiently clever learn how to put them into their least favorite moves. It is the chess within chess! Egad, how did I not get turned on to this before?
I am joining Instant Chess as of today and make no money for recommending that you do the same. Additionally, keep track of my baby steps in learning chess (I did put down the “Chess for Kids” book - perhaps prematurely) on my special chess blog. Yes, you may laugh and point your chess-knowing fingers at me - I can handle it. The chess blog lets you make a move - check it out:

Hey, just started by picking up a couple of books. If you are looking for really clever chess strategies from a fellow who can even teach beginners,
Not there yet, but if you are more advanced, just getting back into playing seriously, feel rusty or really want to bring your game to a whole new level, this fellow put together an amazing collection of chess strategies and videos.
Cool. Like the other blog - thought you had it here too?
